Dahlia Tuber Sale Policy
Thankyou for your order and supporting our small business! Your satisfaction is important to us!
We guarantee your tubers arrive healthy, true to ID, and with at least one visible eye. Please inspect your tubers upon arrival and contact us at melisagordon@dahliahaven.com within 48 hours of your order arriving if you have concerns. Photos will be required so we can accurately diagnose and resolve the concerns. After 48 hours you are fully responsible for your tubers. We cannot be responsible for damage due to poor storage, bad weather, pests, field conditions, pests or negligence.
Virus policy:
We grow with careful healthy practices. We cull for any suspicions looking plants. We sanitize often during both harvesting blooms and dividing tubers. We are inspected yearly by the PA department of Agriculture.
Mislabels:
We do our best to label correctly. But we are human and can make mistakes. If your dahlia bloom doesn't match the variety you ordered, please contact us with photos, a copy of your order and we will do our best to resolve the mix up.
Limits:
We are limiting a few varieties to make them available to more gardeners/growers. This is a limit per HOUSEHOLD. Please respect this.
Cart:
Items in your cart are not secure until you have checked out and received a confirmation email. Unfortunately there is no way to secure items in your cart on this website. We know how frustrating it is to see a variety to disappear from your cart while checking out, but appreciate your understanding of website limitations.
Cancellations:
All sales are final. We do not accept cancellations or changes to your orders once placed. However, because we are selling a perishable product, we reserve the right to cancel and fully refund your order, if something doesn't pass our quality check at shipping.
Shipping:
We only ship within the USA. All orders will be shipped USPS. Our shipping rate is a flat $12. We will combine orders as long as it is less than 25 tubers total. To receive combined shipping, you will need to enter all orders with the SAME name and address so that we can combine shipping and refund any additional shipping costs.
Shipping will take place in April and we will ship to warmer states first.
Local pickup:
We are accepting local pickup this season. You will need to select this option when you check out.

Dahlia wars are real and can cause more stress than joy for both the buyer and seller. Remember we are real people behind the screen. Please be kind!
We will not tolerate threats, foul language, harassment, or bad behavior toward us in email or messages. If this kind of behavior happens, we reserve the right to cancel and refund your order.
We care about our customers and wish you much joy in growing these beautiful dahlias and ask for respect and decency in return.
We are a small scale grower, so some varieties will be available in very limited amounts. We wish we had enough for everyone!
